Lodi Shade Tree Program
In partnership with:
The Lodi Shade Tree Program, a partnership with Lodi Electric Utility and non-profit Tree Lodi, provides free shade trees, species selection advice, and planting instructions to eligible customers to help cool their homes during the hot summer and reduce energy bills.
The fifth season for 2025-26 will start September 1st and will be completed by end of March 2026, with a goal of 500 trees delivered to the community. During the first four years of the program, over 2,400 shade trees have been added to the urban canopy.
Tree Lodi is an all-volunteer organization that advocates for the City's urban forest through citizens' involvement through education, planting, and maintenance of public shade trees.
